Representatives from LB24 and PrepMySmile from the UK recently met the senior leadership team of KTM Özel Kartal Tıp Merkezi (KTM Kartal Medical Center) in Istanbul to discuss potential collaboration between the UK and Türkiye in the areas of dental care, hair restoration, and patient support services.
The meeting, which took place on 8th June 2026, was attended by Shah Yousuf, CEO of LB24, and Mizanur Rahman, CEO of Ekota Academy. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to explore opportunities that could help connect UK patients with trusted healthcare providers in Türkiye.
The delegation was welcomed by Yeliz Yayla, Owner of KTM Kartal Medical Center; Dr. Gökhan Gökçe, CEO and Chief Physician; and Sales Director Ahmed C. Tascioglu.
During the meeting, discussions focused on patient education, support for consultations, treatment pathways and the importance of providing clear and reliable information for people considering treatment abroad. Both parties also exchanged views on how future co-operation could help improve the patient journey and strengthen confidence in international healthcare services.
As part of the visit, the UK delegation toured the medical centre’s facilities, met members of the healthcare team and learned more about the technologies and services available to patients. The discussions were described as positive and constructive, with both parties expressing an interest in continuing conversations and exploring potential areas of future co-operation.
The meeting highlighted the growing interest in international healthcare services and the importance of trust, transparency and patient support in helping people make informed decisions about their treatment options.
