THE POLICE investigation into an incident in Wilmington Gardens, Barking, which left one man, 24, in a critical condition with gunshot injuries and another man with less serious injuries, has led to two people being charged.
Jamie Reid, 31, of Glenthorne Road, W6, will appear at the Old Bailey on 17th July to answer charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent and possession of ammunition. The incident took place on 14th June, and Reid was arrested give days later. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on 20th June and was remanded in custody until the Old Bailey hearing.
Rushelle McLaughlin, 26, of Northolt, Middlesex, was charged on 15th June with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. She is due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 14th July.
A third person, a 27 year old man, who was arrested in West Ealing on 9th June on suspicion of attempted murder remains under investigation but is not in custody.
