Beanibazar Sporting Club UK (BSCUK) launched their new training tops prior to the Greater Sylhet friendly against Moulvibazar at Stepney Astroturf. The team took part in a photoshoot alongside team mascot Khadijah Jannath, a local blind child, and her parents Fozol Uddin and Alea Begum, who were guests of the team.
The launch was attended by Koyes Uddin, CEO of media partner Impress Media. He said, “The team look very smart in their new tops. As a grassroots business with years of history within this very locality, we are delighted to back our local teams.”
Abdul Samad from charity partner Beanibazar Cancer Hospital also attended the launch and game. “We have an exciting tournament ahead and it is an example in point when we have charity partnerships like we are pioneering here,” he said. “I’m glad we will inspire lots of other people to do the same.”
Mahbub Ahmed, Vice Chair of BBSCUK added, “We thank our partners for the backing that they have provided to our team and we hope to repay that confidence many times over.”
Team Manager Emdad Rahman MBE concluded, “Charity is a key feature of our ethos and what we are trying to achieve as a whole. Football is an ideal instrument to achieve this. We sincerely thank everyone for the faith shown.”
