A FESTIVAL OF BOOKS is coming up as part of the British Library Family Programme. The Library hopes that families will enjoy their Festival of Books, which takes place from noon to 4pm on Saturday, 24th September.
This fun-filled day inspired by books and the joy of storytelling is free. Visiting families can drop in when convenient, as no booking is required. The event is deaf accessible, delivered in both British Sign Language and spoken English. Eighteen organisations are running events during afternoon, so there is plenty to choose from.
The event has been organised by the British Library working with the British Museum, Camden Family Learning and the Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children. It is being held in the entrance hall of the British Library, 96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB.
