Fifth arrest in Chadwell Heath murder case

A 16 YEAR OLD male was arrested at his home in Ilford at the end of May on suspicion of murdering Lyndon Davis, 18, on 14th March. The teen was taken to an East London Police Station.

Lyndon was found by the emergency services late on 14th March on Nash Road, RM6. He had been stabbed.  He was taken to hospital, but sadly died early the next morning.

This latest arrest is the fifth in the case.
A 34 year old man was arrested shortly after the murder and later released under investigation.
Three male teenagers – aged 17, 16 and 15 – were arrested in early April. They have been questioned and are currently on bail until late June.

Police have renewed their request for anyone who saw the stabbing or has any other information to come forward.

STORY UPDATE:
A 14 year old boy was arrested on 31st May on suspicion of the murder of Lyndon Davis. He was taken to an East London Police Station. He is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with this case. He and the 16 year old arrested earlier were both bailed until late June.
