Friends of Cemetery Park launch autumn events

WHAT’S ON down at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park? There’s the usual range of events focussing on flora and fauna and just being outdoors. Here’s a selection of events.

Sunday 2nd September
Sound Journey – listening to nature, chimes and musical instruments.
Conservation Volunteering – keep the Park spic and span and visitor-ready by helping out with routine maintenance and seasonal work. After a big push on Sunday, there will be regular sessions every Tuesday.
Life in the Cemetery – a workshop exploring secular spirituality, nature, life and death.

Thursday, 6th September
Friends’ Gathering – a meeting in the Soanes Centre at the Park, open to all supporters of the Park, to discuss how things are going and explore new ideas.

Saturday, 22nd September
Open House London 2018 – the Park will have a range of guided walks for visitors on this special day.

Saturday, 29th September
Bird ringing demonstration – what it says on the tin.
