POLICE ARE appealing to the public for assistance in finding a man who has been indecently exposing himself to women on and near Hackney Marshes – while threatening them with a knife.
The attacks happened on Friday, 17th May – and police have now put together an e-fit image to try to jog local memories and lead them to a suspect.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man aged between 20 and 30. His hair may be braided. At the time of the attacks he was wearing a hooded khaki anorak or jacket and dark tracksuit trousers.
•Anyone who believes that they could help identify the suspect is asked to call offcers at the Central East Command Unit via 101 and quote reference CAD 4711/17May19. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
