POLICE IN ITALY want to interview Abdullah Popalzai, 26, in connection with a sexual assault on a woman in Lecco, Italy, on 30th August 2014. They have obtained a European Arrest Warrant on suspicion of rape.
Detectives in the UK have now learned that Popalzai, who was born in Afghanistan, may have links to the Dagenham area. They have asked members of the public not to approach Popalzai if they see him but to let police know of any sightings immediately or to pass on any other information they may have about his whereabouts.
