Man charged with rape in Shoreditch

A WOMAN in her mid 20s was raped by a stranger in Shoreditch on Saturday, 17th February. Fortunately police moved fast and found the suspect quickly.

Nayed Hoque, 20, of Little Ilford Lane, Manor Park, E12 was charged on 22nd February with two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of robbery.

It is alleged that the offences were all committed against the one woman on the one occasion.

Hoque was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 23rd February.
