ONLINE DATING; THE MALE FACEBOOK VILLAIN?

Women dare not think twice before they get whisked away with charming conversations of the unknown and persuasion to meet a stranger through social media. They call it a thrill and these women trust their intuition but how far do they go to know the underlying truth? Internet dating is far more complex that one could imagine. Statistical data states it is not common to develop a relationship through chat rooms and social media; many simply call it casual online dating. Do we ever check who is behind the deep voice? Yes we women can fall in love with the alluding stranger and innocent facial pictures? Masque with different personalities and multiple identities, men go the extra mile to cover their tracks, from false names, code names and double lives; women feel vulnerable with those they admire the most and fall in love with. As social media and intrusive applications are technically advanced such as Face book applications are easily accepted as the norm in the present day, Face book now places women at every destination, allowing access and information on locations effortlessly available, hunted to any predator lurking and surfing the internet.

Many women believe in online dating, feel they can meet their ideal match, safety precautions are entirely missed when meeting strangers these days far too hastily becoming friends and developing a relationship can turn into difficult relationships and worse case internal trafficking. British Bangladeshi young girls are exposed to these like their counterparts.  Face book, chat room are some forms where girls as early as thirteen can find themselves exploited , grooming, sexual exploitation and rape notwithstanding abuse. Far swiftly do we exchange mobiles, technology has caused us to link hastily, trusting our souls to those who deem to feel safe with. How protected are those young women who decide to meet strangers in remote areas and travel from station to station for their new found love? Be sure you’re fully aware of the underlying threats and vulnerability of young girls engaged in internet grooming without realising the consequences, which living in denial they call on line match making. Those women who are more sound in judgement don’t forget to warn others who are more soft skilled and credulous and align safety guidelines when any female friends are taking this avenue to find the perfect partner.
