Paws for thought at Hang-Up’s Dog Days

The current exhibition at the Hang Up gallery is now in full swing. “Dog Days: Summer’s Hottest Artists” is running throughout August. It’s a group exhibition showcasing a unique blend of freshly created artworks from 16 of Hang-Up’s leading body of contemporary and urban artists. State of the art limited edition prints and original releases in various mediums have been created exclusively for the show.

Featured above is “Yeh Baby”, by the Dutch collective Crail Moansburg. Also featured in the show are new biro drawings on vintage books from Mark Powell: truly spectacular drawings, made all the more arresting by the unusual backgrounds.

The Hang Up Gallery is at 56 Stoke Newington High Street, N16 7PB, tel. 020-3667 4550. It is open from noon to 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday. For more information, go to: http://hanguppictures.com
