POLICE HAVE now released CCTV footage of a man they wish to interview in connection with assaults which took place in the Three Crowns pub in Stoke Newington High Street, N16, on 9th November last year.
A customer who was in the pub and a 32 year old male member of the pub staff became involved in argument. The customer then smashed a glass in the face of the staff member and punched him, causing him to fall to the floor. The same customer then assaulted a second member of the pub staff – a man in his 20s. Both men suffered cuts to the face.
The customer then made to leave the pub – interrupting his departure only to punch a third member of staff, a 28 year old male, who was knocked unconscious.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black man,aged about 30. He is of slim or athletic build and had dark, frizzy hair, which was tied back, and a short beard. At the time, he was waring a beige, short-sleeved T-shirt, light trousers and dark shoes. He was also wearing a silver necklace and was carrying a thick, dark coat with a fur lined hood.
