POLICE HAVE issued a fresh appeal to the public to find James Jason Hamilton, 41, who was released from prison in 2013 – but who has broken the terms of his release. As he cannot be found, there is no way of assessing how much of a danger he poses to the public.
James Jason Hamilton, 41, has also breached the terms of a restraining order imposed on him by Snaresbook Crown Court in 2013. Police are concerned that he poses a danger to his victim, whom the restraining order was supposed to protect.
Hamilton is known to have spent time in Newham and Hackney in the past, but as he has not been seen, he could be anywhere. Police are stressing that if he is seen, Hamilton should not be approached by members of the public.
Police previously issued an appeal for the public to help find Hamilton last September, just after he had committed one of the breaches of the restraining order.
•Anyone who has seen, or sees, Hamilton, or has any other information about his whereabouts, is asked to phone Newham police via 101 and quote reference EWMS 01KF/0622550. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
