THE INNER LONDON Football League (ILFL) is pleased to announce that Rashid Ali has accepted the role of Chair of the Board and Committee.

For over a decade the Beaumont FC legend has been a driving force within the ILFL and has overseen some of the most pioneering developments in UK grassroots football. Ali’s excellent football knowledge, strong leadership, meticulous planning and innovation has seen the organisation develop into one of the best grassroots football projects in the country.

Ali is extremely well regarded and is expected to take the ILFL on to the next stage in terms of project delivery, engagement and recognition.

Speaking after the appointment was made Ali said, “I am humbled – it is a great pleasure and an honour to become the new Chair of such a prestigious movement like the Inner London Football League. I am only as good as my community. I am here for everybody and my simple request is that everyone supports me in this role, and we work together to deliver great football projects. There are some very exciting developments planned and I hope we can all enjoy this journey together.”
