THE LAST WEEK has seen yet another teenager stabbed to death in East London. The latest incident occurred in Chadwell Heath at approximately 10.30pm on Wednesday, 14th March.
The first the police heard was that there had been an assault in Padnell Road, RM6. When they reached the area, they found an 18 year old in nearby Nash Road, suffering from a stabbing wound.
The victim was taken to an East London hospital by ambulance, but sadly he died in the early hours of the following morning. His next of kin have been informed. Formal identification and a post mortem are awaited.
The Metropolitan Police Homicide and Major Crime Command is investigating the killing. It seems that a number of youths chased the victim in the area where he was eventually found, increasing the number of potential witnesses to the crime.
