Three arrested after shooting in Hackney

AN INCIDENT took place in Pownall Road, Hackney, E8 on 31st January – and after a police investigation of a little over a month, three young men were arrested. All three have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The arrests came in an operation which saw eleven warrants being executed by the Central East Gangs Task Force in various locations across East London on 11th March, leading to eight arrests in total.

Give of the eight arrested have been released while investigations continue. The three who were charged are:
•Jeffrey Gyimah, 19
•Jardel Jones, 20
•Ahmed Salem, 18
