SAVE THE DATE! The University of East London (UEL) is staging a Royal Docks Innovation & Enterprise Summer Festival on 3rd June. It’s going to be a mixture of fun and new experiences.
Your Wednesday by the Royal Docks offers a range of attractions for students and locals alike.
•Experience a huge showstopping vertical wall dance on the side of the East Building
•Watch aerialists and live performance acts across the waterfront
•Explore interactive exhibits showcasing student innovation and research
•Get involved in hands-on workshops including: aromatherapy, perfume and wellbeing sessions
•Chocolate decorating and cocktail/mocktail masterclasses
•Craft activities like macramé, wreath-making and mini tufting
•Take part in “Conquer the Docklands” — a fun challenge combining rowing, mental agility and esports
•Visit the UCAS Fair and connect with advisors
•Discover the Stratford redevelopment exhibition and future plans for east London
•Drop into the AI and sustainability conference
•Enjoy street food, music and outdoor spaces across the campus
The festival is part of UEL’s Year of Health.
●The Festival will take place at UEL’s “Docklands” campus at University Way, London E16 2RD. It is free to attend, but there will be a modest charge (£3-5) for some activities to raise funds for student and community sports facilities. For more information, go to:
