Witnesses wanted to Romford brawl

A ROMFORD man was critically injured when an argument ended in a case of assault on 8th May. The incident took place just before 7.30pm at the Aldeman public house on Chippenham Road in Romford.

The victim, a 51 year old man, was taken to an East London hospital by the London Ambulance Service and was admitted in a critical condition. His next of kin were informed.

A 59 year old man was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm after the incident and was taken to an East London Police Station.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any other information about it to contact them via 101 and quote reference 7658/08May.  Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
