Woman serious after Tower Hamlets collision

A COLLISION between a female pedestrian and a car has left the pedestrian in hospital – with serious injuries.

The collision took place just after 9am on Monday, 17th February, on Commercial Road. The London Ambulance Service took the pedestrian to the Royal London Hospital. Her family has been informed.

The vehicle involved in the collision was a red Ford Mustang. The police, who also attended the incident, arrested the driver, on suspicion of dangerous driving, at the scene. He was later released but remains under investigation.
