80 year old injured in Redbridge collision

POLICE ARE looking for a “large 4×4 vehicle” which failed to stop after being involved in a collision in Redbridge at approximately 9.30pm on Friday, 23rd March.

The collision happened on the sliproad leading from the A406 to the M11. Police believe there were only two cars involved.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 80s, received medical treatment at the scene and was then taken to an East London hospital. His condition was described as stable.

The Metropolitan Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the incident and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
