POLICE HAVE issued an appeal to the public to help establish whether Asif Afzal, from Newham, is safe – or if he is in danger.
Asif was last seen at his home in East Ham at 10am on Saturday, 16th April, by his family. He was wearing a baggy black coat, grey joggers, black trainers and a black backpack.
Asif has not been seen at the gym in High Street North, E12, where is is usually a frequent visitor, and he has not responded to appeals for information which his family have put out on social media.
Concern for Asif’s welfare is growing and his family hope that anyone who can speak to him will ask him to contact his family or a friend to let the family know that he is safe.
●The police ask that anyone who sees Asif or has any information on his whereabouts to call the police via 101 and quote reference 22MIS01271. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
