Daniel Frederick murder: four in court, another arrest

THE POLICE investigation to bring those who killed Hackney man Daniel Frederick is pressing forward.

The following four male suspects appeared in Court earlier this month and have been remanded in custody to appear for trial at the Old Bailey on 24th July:
a 16-year-old, arrested on 22nd January and charged with murder on 4th April;
Kacper Karasinski, 18, of Mount Pleasant Lane, Hackney, arrested on 29th January and charged with murder on 30th January;
a 16-year-old, from Hackney, arrested on 27th February and charged with murder on 27th March;
a 17-year-old youth, from Hackney, arrested on 14th March and charged with murder on 15th March.

A seventh person was arrested on suspicion of murder on 11th April – a 17 year old male, who was taken to an East London police station and later released on bail until a date in mid May.

Two other suspects have been arrested and released under investigation: a 26 year old man arrested on 10th January on suspicion of murder; and a 41 year old woman arrested on 29th January on suspicion of assisting an offender.
