Hackney man critical after Glenarm Road assault

IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, at 2.30pm on Sunday, 12th August, a 32 year old man was assaulted in Glenarm Road, Hackney E5.

The victim sustained a severe head injury. It is believed that he was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an East London hospital and that his condition is critical.

After initial investigations by Hackney CID, police are looking for two suspects: a white woman and a black man. Police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying and locating the suspects.

Anyone who saw the assault or was in the area at the time, or who has any other information about the incident, is asked to contact Hackney CID via 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
