Man charged after Plaistow Park killing

A MAN WILL appear at Snaresbrook County Court on Friday, 28th June in connection with the death of Steven Kennedy on 30th May. Mr Kennedy, 61, died after being assaulted in Plaistow Park.

The man due to attend court is Mohammed Metowlli, 23, of Bemersyde Point, Dongola Road, E13. He is due to answer a charge of committing Grievous Bodily Harm. Mr Kennedy died three days after being attacked and Metowlli has now also been charged with manslaughter.
