Man killed in Rainham crash is named

ON 3RD MARCH, two vehicles collided on the A13 eastbound – between the Ferry Lane and New Road roundabouts.

Sadly a man who had been in one of the vehicles died at the scene. He has now been named as Kenneth Berry, 54, Woolwich.

Two men, both 18, were arrested at the scene of the accident on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both have since been released from custody but remain under investigation.

The Metropolitan Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the collision and has renewed its appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
