Police still working on Lea Bridge Road shooting

POLICE ARE offering a reward for information that leads directly to a conviction in respect of the killing of Grineo Daka, 27, from Stratford, who was fatally shot on 7th July last year.

The shooting took place in Lea Bridge Road and Daka was declared dead at the scene. It was later confirmed that he had died from a single gunshot. The crime is being investigated by the Specialist Crime Command (Homicide). One man whom they had been trying to trace in connection with the incident has now been found, arrested and charged.

Now police have announced that they are still trying to trace Mirsad Brahimi, so that they can talk to him about the incident. Brahimi is described as 6’ 3” and of slim build.  He is aged 33 and is originally from Kosovo.

We need the community to support us and help bring those responsible to justice.”
