Why did man shoot house in Dagenham?

GUN CRIME is a serious problem in East London – but this is the first time we recall hearing of a man going out in the early hours to shoot a house.

It was around 3am on 12th January when police received reports that a shot had been fired at a house in Stevens Road, Dagenham. Police went straight there and established that no one had been injured; that the suspect who fired the short arrived at the scene of the incident in a car and there was no obvious motive for the attack.

The incident is now being investigated by officers from the Specialist Crime Command. They are appealing to the public to assist them with solving this unusual crime.

Anyone who has witnessed the shooting, was in the area at the time or who has any other information which may assist police is asked to contact the police via 101 and quote reference Cad 767/12Jan. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
