BREAKING NEWS: Police and the London Ambulance Service went out to a residential property in Globe Road, Bethnal Green, this afternoon after receiving reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman in the property.
They found a 40 year old woman in the property, who had injuries consistent with having been stabbed. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s next of kin have been informed.
Police are treating the death as suspicious, and an investigation has been launched. The scene has been cordoned off and is closed to traffic. No arrests have been made and there is no immediate report of the likely cause of the stabbing.
