TEAM BANGLADESH are pleased to announce this year’s team sponsor for the Inner City Inner London Football League World Cup which takes place in September. The World Cup holders will be sponsored by the Indian Ocean catering and events management, London.
Speaking after the announcement, proprietor Sayed Miah, who for many years has been a staunch supporter of grassroots community projects, commented, “I am extremely pleased to have an opportunity to sponsor the ILFL World Cup holders. From top to bottom Team Bangladesh are filled with personalities who are not only huge footballing names but also community activists of the highest order. Their vision is my vision and I am hugely proud to back the boys. They are champions in every aspect and have excelled at all levels of life.”
Inner London Football League Chair Rashid Ali added, “To sustain consistency at grassroots levels requires huge support from people like Sayed and it is exactly why such input is so valuable and important in order to support the aspirations of our communities.”
Bangladesh head coach and manager Emdad Rahman MBE concluded, “This is fabulous news and we are tremendously grateful to Sayed and Indian Ocean catering and events management for such generous and fantastic support. Sayed is a prime example of a working class man who proudly remembers his roots despite his success.”
Next on the list for Team Bangladesh is a kit launch at the Indian Ocean before the tournament takes place in September.
