Police seek witnesses after fatal collision in Newham

THE NUMBER of fatal road incidents may be down because locked down London is seeing less traffic, but police are still seeking help from the public as they investigate accidents in which people have died.

The emergency services were called out at 5.42pm on Saturday, 18th April to Plashet Road, near the junction with Lucas Avenue in E13. The police and London Ambulance Service attended and found that a man riding a motorcycle had collided with a lamp post.  The man, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene. .The victim’s next of kin have been informed.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident in an attempt to establish exactly what happened
