THE SUTTON ARMS pub in Station Lane, Hornchurch, was the scene of an altercation last Friday night, 24th July. Police were called out at just after 11pm.

When police arrived at the pub, they found that those involved in the fight had left – and one man with a minor head injury remained. He received medical treatment at the scene. No one has yet been arrested.

Mobile phone footage of this incident has been widely shared online and in the press. What this footage shows is a significant number of people witnessed this altercation and we really need to speak to them to find out exactly what they saw.
