IT WAS 3.45pm on 12th March when reports came in to the emergency services that someone had been stabbed in Hulse Avenue, Barking.
The police and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 16 year old victim with stab wounds. He was take to an East London hospital where he was assessed as being in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the stabbing and the following day they arrested a 15 year old male on suspicion of attempted murder. The teen was formally charged and appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 15th March.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them establish what happened. They would like to hear from anyone who was walking or driving through the area at the time of the attack.
