Who saw fatal collision in Stratford?

A COLLISION took place between a pedestrian and a No. 23 bus in the High Street in Stratford at approximately 1.30pm on Wednesday, 20th June.

The emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended – but sadly the pedestrian, a 63 year old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Her next of kin have been informed.

Police officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigation the accident and are asking any witnesses to come forward to that they can establish what happened.
