Two teens charged with Canning Town murder

TWO SEVENTEEN year old males have been arrested and charged with the murder of fellow 17 year old Lord Promise Nkenda in Canning Town on Valentine’s Day.

The arrests took place on Saturday and the two teens were due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, 19th February.

Promise was found just after 8pm on 14th February, suffering from stab wounds, in Goldwing Close, E16. He died at the scene shortly afterwards.

The Metropolitan Police Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating the killing.  Although the two youngsters have now been charged, police are still asking members of the public to come forward with any information they have about the crime.
