A SECOND MAN has now been charged with murder and with attempted murder in connection with two shootings which took place in Ilford last November. He has been named as Tyrelle Joseph, 20, of Banks Way, E12.
The first shooting resulted in the death of Jason Diallo, 30, from Ilford. Police received reports at around 10.15pm that there had been a shooting in Balfour Road, IG1. They attended and found Mr Diallo, who had been shot in the head. He died at the scene.
Reports that there had been a second shooting reached police a little over a quarter of an hour later. This shooting occurred in Garvary Road, E16. A 27 year old man was taken to hospital, where his injuries were found to be non life-threatening.
Tyrelle Joseph joins Mushin Mohamed, 24, of Leytonstone Road, E15 in custody. Mohamed was charged with murder and attempted murder last November and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 12th March.
