Teen stabbed in Bow: witnesses wanted

POLICE HAVE appealed for help from members of the public in connection with their investigation into an incident in East London which left a teenager in hospital with stab wounds.

Reports came in to the emergency services at 8pm last Friday, 3rd August, that there had been an assault in Knapp Road, Bow. When they arrived, they found a 15 year old boy, who had been stabbed.

The London Ambulance Service took him to an East London hospital, where he received treatment for injuries which were assessed as not being life-threatening. He is in a stable condition.

Anyone who saw the assault, or what happened in the lead up to it, or who has any information which could assist police is asked to contact the police via 101 and quote reference 7133/3Aug. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
