In early 2010, Tory MEPs and Lords failed to back a number of key measures to increase equality for lesbians and gay men (and also moves to support women over maternity leave and health issues). The Gay Times asked Cameron how this fitted with his vision of the Tory Party as a pro-equalities party. Good question. Bad answer.
