Accident in Newham: can you help?

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic accident which took place in the early hours of Sunday, 29th May on Barking Road, London E6.

A collision took place between a car and a motorcycle at approximately 00.15am. The London Ambulance Service attended and called in police. A male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital and is still critically ill. The driver of the car spoke to police at the scene and there have been no arrests.

Detectives from the Met Police’s Roads and Transport Policing Command would like to speak to anyone who saw the accident or was in the area at the time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the witness appeal line at Chadwell Heath Traffic Garage on 020-8597 4874 or via 101.
