A MAN HAS now been formally charged in connection with the collision between a bicycle and a pedestrian in Bow Road on 3rd July. Local resident Peter McCombie was critically injured by the collision and died in hospital a few days afterwards.
The suspect has been named as Emir Loka, 22, of Waltham Forest. He has been charged with manslaughter and causing bodily harm by wanton/furious driving. He was due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court, yards from where the collision occurred, today, 29th July.
